During his time as a Healthcare Investment Banker, Ryan had the opportunity to advise several founder-owned companies where he witnessed first hand the power of dedicated, hard-working small business owners and their ability to deliver high-quality outcomes to their clients. These experiences inspired Ryan to create Flat Rock Capital to help steward small businesses as they seek to increase their reach and grow their influence.
Prior to founding Flat Rock, Ryan was a member of Houlihan Lokey's Healthcare Group where he advised numerous middle-market healthcare companies on sellside and buyside M&A, equity and debt financings, and strategic advisory engagements.
Ryan began his career at Goldman Sachs, where he spent several years focused primarily on real estate principal investing across multiple asset classes throughout North and South America.
Ryan is a proud graduate of Texas Christian University and is also a CFA Charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
In his spare time, Ryan enjoys running, cycling, and spending time with friends and family.
